Rachel M. Lewis is a staff attorney in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation.
Rachel has over 6 years of e-discovery experience, having worked as a contract attorney at a number of prominent international law firms. She has significant experience in matters relating to white-collar crime and securities litigation, ERISA litigation, patent infringement, patent prosecution, contracts disputes, immigration law and international human rights law.
Rachel received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law, concurrent with a Master’s certificate in European Union studies. While in law school, she volunteered with the Holocaust Victims Asset Litigation.
Rachel is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Immigration & Nationality Law Committee, and has volunteered at the Midwest Immigrant and Human Rights Center (MIHRC).
Rachel is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
