Richard A. Peers is counsel in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Silicon Valley office.
Rich’s practice involves a wide range of corporate matters and counseling. He has represented private and public companies in such matters as corporate formation, private financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, as well as with corporate and securities compliance. Rich has also represented investors in private placements and underwriters in public offerings and has worked on the formation of a number of venture capital funds investing in the technology and life sciences industries. Prior to joining McDermott, Rich practiced corporate and securities law for more than 28 years at an international law firm.
Rich is admitted to practice in California. In 1978-79, Rich was the law clerk to the Hon. Charles M. Merrill, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
