Our Intellectual Property, Media & Technology (IPMT) Department represents many alcohol beverage companies and has registered and defended the integrity of some of the industry’s most celebrated trademarks. We assist companies in developing and implementing U.S. and international brand identity programs and international policing programs. We also conduct comprehensive searches for potential marks and assess the relative risks and benefits associated with using and registering a particular trademark.
Our Firm has represented clients in trademark and trade dress infringement suits in federal courts throughout the United States, obtaining temporary restraining orders, preliminary and permanent injunctions and damages against infringers and importers of illegal counterfeit goods. Our lawyers are experienced in managing and conducting complex intellectual property litigation before the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeal (including the Federal Circuit), the U.S. Supreme Court and foreign tribunals.
