Mark B. Stein is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Boston office. He is the partner-in-charge of the Boston Corporate practice.
Before joining McDermott, Mark was deputy executive director and later, executive director (acting) of the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment. He has also served as a legislative assistant to a United States senator from New Hampshire and as a foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau for Near East and South Asian Affairs and at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
Mark is recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 United States for being one of the leading lawyers in the field of mergers, acquisitions and buyouts.
While in law school, Mark was a member of the Harvard Law Review.
