Amol has substantial litigation experience having represented high-tech companies in complex patent litigations in a variety of technologies, including high-resolution liquid crystal display projectors, computer and networking systems, mechanical devices and business methods. Amol has actively participated in all aspects of litigation and trial process including taking and defending depositions, conducting fact and expert discovery, preparing claim construction briefs and hearing presentations, briefing substantive motions, and participating in trial preparation and proceedings.
In addition to his litigation experience, Amol regularly prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the field of electronic and computer technologies, including digital and analog circuits, telecommunications systems, computer software and hardware, voice recognition and recordation software, programmable logic circuits, semiconductor devices, artificial intelligence, medical devices, acoustic transducers, business methods and financial products.
Amol’s practice also includes intellectual property asset management. In particular, Amol has experience performing due diligence investigations and analyses in connection with the sale or acquisition of businesses or targeted business assets involving various technologies, including renewable energy sources, medical devices, and CDMA and W-CDMA wireless communication protocol technology. Amol also has experience in client counseling, opinion work, licensing, confidentiality agreements and trademark opposition proceedings.
During law school, Amol served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve, District Judge, Northern District of Illinois. Prior to attending law school, he held various positions with Hughes Network Systems training in telecommunication system design, and in particular, the design and testing of base station cellular transmit filters.

Amol’s professional affiliations include the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago and the Indian-American Bar Association of Chicago. Amol is a member of the Young Professionals of Chicago and previously served a term on the Associate Board of Ambassadors for the American Cancer Society.
Amol is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
