Shaun B. Hawkinson is a senior staff attorney in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office.
Shaun earned his B.S. in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University and his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, receiving concentrations in intellectual property law and environmental & natural resource law. During law school, he served as a note & comment editor for the Michigan State Law Review and was a student clinician in the MSU College of Law Rental Housing Clinic. He also served as an extern for the Michigan Department of Attorney General.
Prior to practicing law, Shaun worked as an engineer for a full service consulting engineering firm.
Shaun is a member of the State Bar of Illinois and is a registered patent attorney admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
