C. David Goldman is head of the Firm’s Corporate Advisory Practice Group and is based in the Firm’s New York office.  David focuses his practice in general corporate and business counseling, with a concentration in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, restructurings and complex commercial transactions. 

David has led transactions across a broad range of industries, but with particular experience in energy (downstream and trading), steel (manufacturing and trading), building products, paper (production), financial institutions (complex structurings), technology development, agricultural and food delivery, and other related industries.  Cross-border transactions include significant and regular transactions throughout Europe and Asia. 

David was a lecturer in financial accounting at Yale School of Management.  David serves on a number of private company and non-profit boards of directors.  In addition, David is the founder and Chairman of the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics, a program providing annual fellowships to professional school students throughout the world to study contemporary ethical issues in their professions.
