Michael Dillon is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's New York office. He focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, including class actions and multi-party mass tort cases. Michael has particular experience defending corporations in complex commercial, toxic tort and products liability litigation matters, as well as claims under federal environmental statutes and state statutory and common law. Michael’s litigation experience also includes representing clients in employment discrimination matters.
Before joining McDermott, Michael taught high school English in Rochester, New York. Prior to that, he owned and operated a successful bar and restaurant in New York City.
During law school, Michael was a Justice John Marshall Harlan Scholar and a member of the New York Law School Law Review. He also served for two years as a research assistant to Professor Michael Perlin.
Michael is admitted to practice in New York, and in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
