Dr. Thomas Ammermann is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater LLP and is based in its Duesseldorf office. He is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Department where his practice is focused on corporate law and capital markets.
Thomas studied law at the Universities of Regensburg, Paris and Würzburg. From 2004 to 2006, Thomas was a scientific associate at the University of Würzburg. He received his Dr. jur. from the University of Würzburg in 2006 with a doctoral thesis that was honored with the Carl Goerdeler-Award by the City of Leipzig in 2008. As a legal trainee he worked inter alia at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Koblenz as well as for the corporate departments of two international law firms.
Thomas is admitted to the German Bar. He speaks German, English and French.
