Amy S. Beard is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's New York office. She is a member of the Trial Department.
While at New York University School of Law, Amy served as the Moot Court Board Casebook Editor and as a Moot Court Board Casebook Problem Author. She was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Society and received honorable mention in the Society's Fall 2004 Oral Advocacy Competition.
Before joining McDermott, Amy worked as a research assistant for two NYU School of Law professors in the areas of civil rights and the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property law. She also worked as a legal intern for the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office in Medford, Oregon.
Amy is a member of the Order of the Barrister and of the academic honor societies Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta. She received her B.A. summa cum laude, with High Honors in her major, from Clark University.
Amy is admitted to practice in New York.
