Zoya Arora is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation.
Zoya is active within the Firm's Pro Bono & Community Service Committee, and received an award for Outstanding Achievement and Commitment to the Pro Bono and Service to the Community in 2010. She has previously obtained the reversal of an expulsion ruling for a Chicago Public Schools student after being referred to the case by Equip for Equality.
While in law school, Zoya served on the Iowa Law Review and was an intern in the domestic violence clinic. She was a research assistant focusing on employment and elder law, and chaired the Iowa Student Bar Association’s Diversity Committee.
Zoya is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
