Elizabeth P. Philpott is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on representing energy and commodity companies, financial institutions and trade associations in a variety of transactional, regulatory and risk management matters.
While in law school, Elizabeth interned for the Tennessee Supreme Court, and for the Honorable John T. Nixon of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She was also a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and her B.A. in psychology, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.
Elizabeth is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
