James Isaac is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice on a variety of employee benefits tax and ERISA matters related to 401(k) plans, pension plans, health and welfare plans and executive compensation. He also has experience in employee benefits litigation and controversy matters.
During law school, James was an articles editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and a two-time participant in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. He also interned for Justice Brun-Otto Bryde at the Bundesverfassungsgericht (Federal Constitutional Court) in Karlsruhe, Germany.
James is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.
