Robert A. Schreck, Jr. is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Chicago office. As a member of the Firm’s Corporate Department, he practices primarily in the area of mergers, acquisitions and restructurings, and has experience in directing complex, multidisciplinary legal transactions on behalf of publicly held corporations, joint ventures and cooperatives.
In addition, Robert provides continuing legal advice to a number of the Firm’s corporate and cooperative clients, ranging from start-up ventures to publicly held corporations, in the areas of securities law, commercial contracts and corporate governance. He advises boards and management on fiduciary duties, including these involved in change in control transactions.
Robert was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1978. Robert is a member of the American Bar Association.
