David Y. Rhee is a staff attorney in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and is part of the Trial practice group.
Prior to joining McDermott, David was a litigation associate and focused his practice on defending insurance, contracts and personal injury claims. During this time, he acquired extensive bench and jury trial experience.
David also has significant experience in managing the electronic discovery process utilizing multiple platforms.
David received his B.A. in English from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and his J.D. from the School of Law at Golden Gate University. While in law school, he was a teaching assistant for students in underprivileged communities. David also advocated for U.S. Military Veterans and indigent clients before administrative law judges.
David is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, U.S. District Court of Northern Illinois and is a certified arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County.
