Scott W. Clark is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Houston office. He focuses his practice on patent litigation for a wide range of technologies, including biotechnology, chemistry, semiconductor processing, medical devices and data storage.
Scott’s litigation experience extends from pre-litigation counseling through appeal, including case development, discovery management, motion practice, hearings, jury and bench trials, and appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Scott has also worked as pro bono counsel for the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, providing free legal services to low-income residents in the Houston area.
Scott is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in the state of Texas, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
