Andrew D. Copans is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's Los Angeles office.
Prior to joining McDermott, Andrew was a research assistant to Professor Dean Weiner at Loyola Law School where he assisted him and other attorneys in drafting and editing a textbook on corporate and partnership taxation. Andrew also practiced for three years doing civil litigation before returning to school to get his LL.M. in 2006.
While in law school, Andrew was a senior editor for the Southern California Review of Law & Women’s Studies. He is admitted to practice in California.
