Edward (Teddy) Eynon is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C., office.  He focuses his practice on public policy and government relations. Teddy has experience representing clients from a broad range of industries, including health care, financial services, energy and environmental matters, appropriations and defense and homeland security policy. 

Teddy has an extensive background in politics and public policy, helping him to advise clients on effective government relations strategies. He has experience dealing with all levels of the federal government.

Prior to joining McDermott, Teddy was a partner at a prominent law firm, where he monitored and analyzed the state and federal legislative and regulatory process and designed strategies to promote, defeat or provide inputs on the enactment of legislation in congress and state legislatures.  He also served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Arizona Congressman John Shadegg. 

Teddy serves on the Washington, D.C. board of ChildHelp, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of children who have been battered and/or abused. He is also involved with the D.C., Foster Care Program.  

Teddy received his J.D. and LL.M. in environmental law from Pace University School of Law. He received his B.A. in history and political science.

Teddy is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York.
