Mark Crofskey is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. His practice has a particular cross-border emphasis. Mark undertakes domestic and international private equity work in addition to general M&A, corporate and corporate finance transactions and advisory mandates.
Mark has had significant Russian transaction experience including advising a private equity house on what was the first substantial international leveraged buy-out in Russia (Nidan Soki) as well as other private equity investment into Russia.
Mark has advised UK, US, Russian, EU and Kazakh clients on a wide range of corporate actions including IPOs, joint ventures, disposals and acquisitions. He has also advised private purchasers in relation to oil and gas and other energy and energy related assets in Europe and Russia including wind farms, tank farms, ports, power stations and North Sea interests.

- Acted for the Founders on the $14bn IPO of Eurasian Natural Resources plc
- Acted for OAO Polymetal in relation to its $600m IPO and various related follow-on matters including joint ventures and its subsequent sale
- Acted for a private equity house on its acquisition from Spirent plc of its Network Products Group
- Acted for a private equity house on its secondary buy-out of KP1, a manufacturer of concrete products and construction materials
- Acted for a private equity house on its joint acquisition of the Caudwell Group
- Advised the purchaser on its acquisition of an indirect 41 per cent interest in Evraz Group SA
