Christopher M. Lahiff is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  He focuses his practice on matters regarding the regulation of pesticides by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as well as of food by the Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Chris has counseled clients on matters arising under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (also known as Superfund) and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.  He has been extensively involved in pesticide data compensation and enforcement matters, as well as contracting and counseling matters.  He is a member of the New York, Virginia and District of Columbia bars.

In addition to his law degree, Chris has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
