David M. Stein is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Orange County office. As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, David focuses his practice on patent litigation and commercial litigation. He also serves as hiring partner for the Orange County office.
David has been involved in major patent cases involving semiconductor devices and processing, medical devices, sporting goods and various business methods. David has considerable trial experience with jury and bench trials in various jurisdictions. He has handled a number of pro bono matters, including several cases involving civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. Section 1983.
While at
David is admitted to practice in California and Texas, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California and the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.
