Brigid Breslin is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital. She also advises on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions, as well as giving day to day general advice on matters of company law. She has extensive experience in relation to reductions of capital, schemes of arrangement, joint ventures, management buy-outs, restructurings, flotations, UK domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, rights issues and the setting up and marketing of investment funds. She also advises on corporate governance issues, including the Bribery Act 2010 and associated compliance programs.
