Dennis J. White is senior counsel in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Boston office. Den’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings of securities, senior debt financings , restructurings and sales of distressed companies and corporate governance counseling. He has over 20 years experience in representing emerging and mature companies, family businesses, private equity and venture capital firms and senior lenders in the United States and internationally. Den regularly counsels foreign companies on establishing operations and acquiring businesses in the U.S.
Den is ranked as a leading lawyer in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA for Corporate and M&A. Den is also a member of the American and Boston Bar Associations, as well as the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee of the American Bar Association, and he is listed in the 2009-2010 edition of Who's Who in American Law. Den currently serves as Chairman of the global board of directors of the Association for Corporate Growth, an international organization with over 12,000 members, including senior executives, private equity firm principals, investment bankers and others in the dealmaking community. Den is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of corporate and transactional topics and has appeared on CNBC on M&A issues.
