Sharon Tan is an associate in the firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office.
Her practice focuses on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
Sharon has extensive litigation experience. She frequently handles matters in the Employment Tribunal (where she conducts her own advocacy), the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal and has significant experience of handling matters, such as injunctions, in the High Court.
Sharon regularly advises clients on their day to day employment matters, which range from redundancies and disciplinary/grievance issues to executive appointments/terminations and trade union disputes.
She also has a breadth of experience in dealing with the employment aspects of multi-jurisdictional transactions, restructurings and outsourcings and is a frequent speaker at employment law seminars.
