Timothy S. Shuman is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Washington, D.C., office. He is a member of the Tax Department.
Tim focuses his practice on corporate and international tax matters for U.S. and foreign multinationals, with particular emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings, including reorganizations and spin-offs. He also has experience with transactions involving corporations with special tax status, such as regulated investment companies and insurance companies.
While in law school, Tim was an editor on the Yale Law Journal and the Yale Law and Policy Review.
Tim is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Illinois.
