Andrew W. McCune is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office.  Andrew focuses his practice on private equity, corporate transactions, corporate financings and securities matters.  He represents funded and unfunded sponsors, management teams, purchasers and sellers in leveraged transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and non-control investments in diverse industries and market segments.

Andrew’s private equity market experience encompasses numerous domestic and international leveraged transactions involving financial as well as strategic parties.  His practice includes representing institutional co-investors and growth equity investors.  Andrew also advises investment principals on a range of formation, organization and transition issues.  His finance and securities experience includes domestic and international public offerings, as well as private placements of debt and equity.

Andrew has been recognized by Chambers USA, Legal 500, The Best Lawyers in America and Illinois Super Lawyers as a leader in his field.  He has also recently been named among the top lawyers for 2010 by the legal directory PLC Which Lawyer?.
