Brandon H. Barnes is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C., office. He focuses his practice on environmental law. Brandon has been appointed to serve as the 2011-2012 Vice Chair to the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Committee on Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources. Brandon is also Vice Chair of Special Projects for the Pesticides, Chemical Regulation, and Right-to-Know Committee of the Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources of the ABA. He has recently been appointed to serve on the Wake Forest University School of Law Young Alumni Board for a term expiring June 30, 2014. The Young Alumni Board, composed of emerging young leaders, engages recent law school alumni across the country.
While in law school, Brandon contributed to the Wake Forest Law Review. He also served as a research assistant to the editor of the Restatement Third, Torts: Liability for Physical and Emotional Harm.
Brandon is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
