Many members of our Energy Advisory Practice Group practiced with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and individual state public utility commissions and commodity trading businesses.  Their deep regulatory experience enables us to provide clients with guidance on the scope of agency jurisdiction, current regulatory focus and initiatives, compliance policies and procedures, and dealing with government investigations.  In addition to our first-class regulatory and enforcement lawyers, we have many lawyers with extensive experience in energy trading, structured transactions, mergers and acquisitions, project development and finance.
