Our trade team includes partners who were pioneers in the development of the International Trade Practice in Brussels and whose combined experience in Community and trade law goes back over 30 years. We have litigated trade cases in national courts and in the European Court, and our lawyers have dealt with more than 100 anti-dumping cases in over 20 different countries, including China, India, Pakistan and other Asian countries, Brazil and Mexico.
Our full range of competition services includes transaction counselling, advice on State aid, public procurement, merger control notification and representation in cartel investigations, technology licensing, and pricing and distribution arrangements. We represent clients on contentious matters including EU and Member State litigation, arbitration and mediation, risk arbitrage, sector inquiries and agency complaints. Our competition practice has taken us to North and South America, Asia and the Far East, and members of our Brussels team have been involved in many of the landmark European competition cases. Our team complements the Firm’s integrated international competition practices based in London, Germany, Italy and the United States.
