New Securitisation Partner Joins London Office

LONDON (3 August 2006) – McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP is delighted to announce that securitisation lawyer Paul-Michael Rebus will be joining its Structured Finance group as a partner.  He joins the Firm from Baker & McKenzie.

Paul-Michael's extensive experience includes acting on behalf of programme sponsors, leading teams in structuring a significant number of European and U.S. multi-seller asset-backed commercial paper conduits and advising on New York and English law issues and documentation.  He has represented numerous European and U.S. investment and commercial banks.

Paul-Michael's appointment is the latest by McDermott's London Structured Finance group, following the hire of Nick Terras as a partner in March and Kevin McGuire as counsel in May.  This, combined with the continued expansion of the New York Structured Finance group, ensures that McDermott can provide a seamless service across the London-U.S. axis.

David Dalgarno, London office managing partner, said, "We are very pleased to welcome Paul-Michael to McDermott.  He brings with him a wealth of technical experience and will enhance our capabilities in this key area.  He joins a growing global Structured Finance practice which reinforces our commitment to providing cutting-edge advice to our structured finance clients in both the European and U.S. markets."
