McDermott Partner Named to the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (July 17, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Jon Dean, partner in the Firm’s Trial Department based in Los Angeles, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA). 

The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles provides civil legal services to low-income people in metropolitan Los Angeles.  Last year, the LAFLA honored McDermott's Los Angeles office with its 2007 Pro Bono Services Award.  For more information visit www.lafla.org.

As a member of the Trial Department, Mr. Dean concentrates his practice in the areas of complex business litigation, class actions, health care litigation, employment litigation, intellectual property and business crimes.  He currently serves as Chair of McDermott’s Los Angeles office’s Pro Bono Committee.
