London Office Strengthens Corporate Group with Addition of New Partner
LONDON (16 October 2008) — International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has announced that Mark Crofskey joined the London office as a partner in the Firm's Corporate Group. Mr. Crofskey's appointment follows seven other partner appointments in London in 2008, as the Firm continues to expand its London and European business.
Mr. Crofskey joins the Firm from the London office of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom. He is a cross-border, M&A practitioner (both private and public) with experience in private equity transactions and in the Russian markets.
Hugh Nineham, Head of European Corporate, said: "Mark is a highly rated deals lawyer, and I am delighted he has chosen to join McDermott. He will complement the existing team in London and elsewhere in Europe. I look forward to working with him in the coming years to implement our structured growth plans for the group."
Mr. Crofskey added: "McDermott Will & Emery offers me a great opportunity to be part of building out the cross-border M&A practice. The strength of the Firm throughout Europe and the United States was of particular interest to me, and I am excited to be part of the implementation of the Firm’s growth plans."
