McDermott Will & Emery Studio Legale Associato Hires Counsel to Establish New Health Law Practice in Rome

ROME (2 February 2009) — International law firm McDermott Will & Emery Studio Legale Associato is pleased to announce the expansion of the Firm's successful Health Law Department into Italy with the appointment of Massimiliano Russo as counsel in the Rome office.  Mr. Russo's practice will focus on pharmaceutical and health care law, as well as advising on food law, IT/data protection, advertising and commercial law.  He will work closely with the Firm's well-established health law teams across Europe and the United States. 

As a leading Italian health care lawyer Mr. Russo's position as counsel will draw upon his experience from Studio Legale Russo in Rome where he is responsible for advising Italian and international clients on data protection, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food law and outsourcing projects.
