McDermott's Los Angeles Office Welcomes Intellectual Property Partner
LOS ANGELES (June 9, 2008) — The Los Angeles office of McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to welcome Adel F. Bebawy as the newest partner to its office. Mr. Bebawy will be a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department. His practice focuses on outsourcing and telecommunications, technology and intellectual property transactional matters, media and entertainment and complex commercial and e-commerce transactions.

Mr. Bebawy represents both customers and vendors, as well as both licensors and licensees. He has experience representing clients in a broad range of intellectual property, technology and commercial transactions in various sectors including, retail, fiber optics, biotechnology, medical devices, semiconductors and alternative energy.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Bebawy was a chemist at Van Leer Containers, Inc. for two years. Mr. Bebawy earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the California and Los Angeles Bar Associations.
