Partner Named President of the Boston Bar Association
BOSTON (September 5, 2005) — On September 1, 2005, Edward "Ned" Leibensperger, a partner in McDermott Will & Emery’s Trial Department, began his one-year term as president of the Boston Bar Association.

Mr. Leibensperger's practice focuses on the litigation and trial of general business, securities, corporate governance and professional liability cases. His experience includes trials of numerous jury cases in both state and federal courts. He also appears regularly in courts on preliminary injunctions, motions and jury-waived hearings.
Mr. Leibensperger has been a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1995. He is a past co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Committee. Mr. Leibensperger has also chaired the Professional Liability Committee of the BBA and the BBA Litigation Section. He also co-chaired the BBA Task Force on Parole and Community Reintegration, and continues to be a respected spokesman for corrections reform.
Mr. Leibensperger graduated magna cum laude from Muskingum College and summa cum laude from Ohio State University College of Law, where he served as an editor of The Ohio State Law Journal. He also holds a certified public accounting license from the State of Ohio.
