McDermott's Intellectual Property Department Ranked Among Leading Firms
WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 10, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that the Firm has once again been ranked as one of the most active patent prosecution firms based on Intellectual Property Today's annual Top Patent Firms survey (March 2008 issue). With 1,420 patents issued in 2007, McDermott placed second among all general practice firms and 11th overall from 352 firms surveyed. The list is based on number of patents issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the previous calendar year.
