McDermott Ranked in Third Quarter Legal Advisory League Tables
CHICAGO (October 4, 2007) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that the Firm achieved a number of notable league table rankings published by Thomson Financial’s Mergers & Acquisitions Review and Bloomberg’s M&A Legal Advisory. Thomson ranked McDermott third for Top U.S. Deals Announced by Target Industry (energy), ninth for U.S. Target Deals Announced, and 24th for Worldwide Completed M&A Acquisitions, among other rankings. Bloomberg ranked McDermott 18th in both Global Private Equity Announced Deals and U.S. Announced Deals.
Last month, McDermott was recognized among the top 10 leading transactional law firms in Law Firm Leaders and Contenders in the Corporate Transactions Market, released by BTI Consulting. McDermott was identified as a "major player" among transactional law firms for both U.S. and cross-border transactions.
