McDermott Named Among Most Active Firms in the 2007 PIPE Market League Tables
NEW YORK (February 11, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery has been ranked among the top 25 law firms in the 2007 PIPE Market Investor Counsel League Table by Number of Transactions by PlacementTracker, published by Sagient Research Systems.
Sagient Research, a leading publisher of independent research for the financial services and institutional investment communities, also reported that the PIPE market enjoyed its fourth consecutive record year in 2007, with $83.59 billion raised in 1,434 transactions. This total exceeded the 2006 total of $29.35 billion by 185 percent.
McDermott's PIPE League Table ranking comes only weeks after M&A and private equity league tables for the fourth quarter of 2007 ranked McDermott as a leading law firm in those markets as well.
