McDermott Names First Partner-in-Charge of Firm-Wide Diversity

NEW YORK (February 20, 2009) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that in furtherance of its core values and business objectives, Lisa A. Linsky, a partner in the New York Trial Department, will lead McDermott's diversity initiatives and programs as the first partner-in-charge of Firm-wide Diversity.  Ms. Linsky created and has chaired McDermott's innovative Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Diversity Committee since 2006.  She has demonstrated outstanding leadership with her enthusiasm and energy and has accelerated the Firm's diversity efforts by raising McDermott's national profile.

Ms. Linsky will work closely with the chairs of the Firm's Gender and Racial & Ethnic Diversity Committees, as well the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Directors of Professional Development, Legal Recruiting Managers, partners and colleagues to build on the momentum that the Firm has achieved in recent years to create an inclusive, professional environment for the long-term benefits of all of McDermott's colleagues and clients.
