Trademark and Copyright Practices Ranked Among Leading Firms
WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 13, 2007) — McDermott Will & Emery's Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department was ranked among the leading trademark and copyright firms in Managing Intellectual Property's annual survey of the world's leading IP firms (March 2007). McDermott was recognized in the trademark prosecution section as well as in the combined trademark/copyright litigation section in the United States.
This annual survey ranks the leading IP firms in the world in the area of trademark and copyright, and only firms that were rated highly in the research were included in the rankings. The results of the survey are based on interviews with hundreds of companies and practitioners worldwide and reveal which firms are rated by their peers for the strength and the depth of their practice. The rankings were determined from the results of interviews and research conducted between September 2006 and January 2007 across 65 jurisdictions.
