McDermott Represents Banc of America Securities in a $1.2 Billion High Grade Debt Offering
BOSTON (July 28, 2009) — McDermott Will & Emery LLP represented Banc of America Securities, LLC, as active book running manager, in a $1.2 billion SEC-registered high grade debt offering for St. Jude Medical, Inc.
St. Jude focuses on the development, manufacture, and distribution of implantable neurostimulation devices for the management of chronic pain and cardiovascular medical devices for cardiac rhythm management and cardiovascular and atrial fibrillation therapy areas.
The offering included $700 million of 3.750 percent of senior notes due in 2014 and $500 million of 4.875 percent senior notes due in 2019. Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC, and Goldman, Sachs & Co. were passive book running managers.
