McDermott Continues Growth in Houston with Addition of Corporate Partner
HOUSTON, TX (March 31, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that James H. Wilson has joined the Firm's Houston office. Mr. Wilson joins McDermott as a partner in the Corporate Department. He was formerly head of King & Spalding’s corporate practice in Houston.

Mr. Wilson focuses his practice on corporate finance and securities with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and public offerings. He has extensive experience in the private equity sector, including the formation and terms of private equity funds. In addition, he has significant experience with clients involved in the energy and health care industries. Mr. Wilson has counseled clients in connection with U.S. and international merger and acquisition transactions, including a number of public company mergers, hostile and negotiated tender offers, going-private transactions and spin-offs. He regularly counsels clients on securities law compliance, corporate governance and other corporate matters. Mr. Wilson earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.S., cum laude, from Missouri State University. He is admitted to practice in Texas.
