McDermott Ranked Among Top Law Firms in 2010 Edition of The Legal 500 United States
CHICAGO (June 8, 2010) — McDermott Will & Emery has been named as one of the country’s leading law firms in the 2010 edition of The Legal 500 United States. McDermott was singled out in the areas of finance, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, mergers, acquisitions and buyouts, real estate and construction, and tax.
Reflecting the Firm’s continued upward momentum and strong emphasis on client service, the Firm’s total practice area and individual rankings increased over previous years. In the 2010 edition of the guide, McDermott is ranked in 25 separate practice areas. Six of the Firm’s partners were also named “Leading Lawyers” in their respective disciplines.
McDermott’s Corporate Advisory Practice Group earned praise at the national level for its work in corporate restructuring, structured finance, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, private equity buyouts, and venture capital and emerging companies.
