McDermott Sponsors "The Federal Circuit Visits the Valley" Events

PALO ALTO, CA (November 3, 2008) — Beginning on November 3, 2008, the High Tech Law Institute at Santa Clara University School of Law will host two events in conjunction with, "The Federal Circuit Visits the Valley," in which a three-judge panel will hear oral arguments at the university.

On November 3, McDermott Will & Emery lawyer Terry Ahearn will present a case preview along with lawyers from Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.  On November 4, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals will sit at Santa Clara University School of Law where a panel of three judges will hear cases.  Silicon Valley attorneys Terry Ahearn and Philip Ou will be in attendance for this hearing as well as a luncheon program following the oral arguments.
