McDermott Advises Management of Principal Hotels on Acquisition
LONDON - The international law firm of McDermott Will & Emery advised the management of Harrogate based group, Principal Hotels, on the £255 million acquisition of the company by Nomura International’s Principal Finance Group.
The four-star hotels company, which was sold by a consortium of investors led by venture capital companies, Bridgepoint Capital and PPM Ventures, is the first hotel industry acquisition by Principal Finance Group’s Managing Director, Guy Hands, on behalf of the Japanese bank.
