McDermott Will & Emery Appoints Nationally Recognized Litigator Lazar Raynal to Lead the Firm's Trial Department
CHICAGO (June 1, 2009) — McDermott Will & Emery LLP is pleased to announce that Lazar Raynal will serve as the head of the Firm's Trial Department, effective immediately. Raynal, whose litigation skills have received national accolades in American Lawyer, is currently a member of the Trial Department based in the Chicago office and co-chair of the Firm's Trust & Estate Controversy practice. The Management Committee approved Raynal's appointment on May 27, 2009. Raynal replaces Jeffrey Stone who will become co-chairman of the Firm on January 1, 2010.

Raynal's cases have commanded national media attention.
