Dixon Midland Sells Tech Lighting LLC
McDermott Will & Emery advised Dixon Midland L.L.C., a private investment fund based in Chicago, in the sale of Tech Lighting L.L.C., a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural lighting systems, to The Harbour Group. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The McDermott team working on the transaction included corporate attorneys Tim Bryant, Jeff Jung, Eric Orsic, and Ryan Harris; tax partners Dan Zucker, and Jeff Wagner; antitrust attorney Jon Dubrow; and IP attorneys, Joe Paquin and Jennifer Mikulina. For this transaction, Dixon Midland's investment bank was Lazard Freres & Co.
Tech Lighting, based in Skokie, Illinois and founded in 1983, has approximately 230 employees. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of branded, high quality architectural lighting systems for commercial and residential use.
