Daniel Haley Named Among Top Republican Influencers in Massachusetts
BOSTON (June 30, 2010) — McDermott Will & Emery associate Dan Haley has been listed as a “Top Massachusetts Influencer” by Campaigns & Elections' Politics magazine (June 2010). The influencers list is a catalog of the hundred most influential political opinion brokers in each state, chosen by a respected local political reporter based on interviews with active government and political operatives. Among the overall, bipartisan list of 100 recognized individuals, Haley was named a “top ten” Republican influencer.
“I am excited and pleased to be included in the top ten list in such distinguished company,” commented Haley, noting that the Republican list also includes former Governor Mitt Romney and former White House Chief of Staff Andy Card.

Prior to joining McDermott, Haley served in the Office of the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, first as Deputy Legal Counsel to the Governor, and then as Chief of Staff and Legal Counsel to Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey and Assistant Chief of Staff to Governor Mitt Romney.
Before law school, Haley was a special assistant to the chairman of the Republican National Committee, a consultant to the National Republican Congressional Committee, and special assistant for the 1996 Republican National Convention. Haley currently serves in a volunteer capacity as treasurer of the Charlie Baker for Governor Committee and is frequently quoted in local and statewide media concerning political and legal issues.
