LONDON - McDermott Will & Emery is advising Bridgewell Ltd. and Bridgewell Securities Ltd. as underwriter and stockbroker respectively to the one -for-one rights issue of 28.5 million shares in Teather & Greenwood Holdings plc. The proceeds of the rights issue and the proceeds of the disposal of Teather & Greenwood Investment Management to Prudential Bache, part of Prudential Financial Inc., will give Teather & Greenwood financial flexibility.
Bridgewell Limited was formed in mid-2000 to acquire the corporate finance division of Singer & Friedlander Limited. The founding shareholders of Bridgewell were all former directors or staff of Singer & Friedlander corporate finance, and approximately 45% of the issued share capital is still owned by Bridgewell's directors and staff.
