Partners Ranked As Top Employment Attorneys by Human Resource Executive Magazine

Boies have been recognized in the May 2009 issue of Human Resource Executive Magazine as being two of the Top 100 Employment Attorneys in the U.S. as a result of their experience in representing employers and benefit plan fiduciaries in ERISA litigation.
Human Resource Executive Magazine, a leading trade publication for human resource professionals, names the Top 100 Employment Attorneys list following a searching review of curriculum-vitae, evaluations by clients and peers, and research. The magazine, in conjunction with Lawdragon, surveyed more than 30,000 lawyers and human resources executives to identify the top legal professionals in this area.
Mr. Boies is a partner in the Firm's Chicago office, and he regularly represents benefit plan sponsors and fiduciaries in ERISA class action litigation concerning pension plan administration, fiduciary duty, responsibility for asset losses, and changes in welfare benefits. Several health benefits class actions he has won have resulted in court-approved savings to employers valued at more than $100 million. Bill is ranked as a leading employee benefits litigator by The Legal 500 and Chambers USA, and Leading Lawyers Network magazine has named him a leading lawyer in class action defense.
Ms. Ross, also based in the Chicago office and a member of the Firm's Trial Department, practices primarily in the area of employee benefits class action litigation and ERISA counseling. In the 2008, 2007, and 2006 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, Nancy was recognized as a leader in ERISA litigation.
